Birds of Australia

Sydney: Ibis, Pigeon, Myna, Australian Pelican, Magpie, cockatoo, crow, Laughing Kookaburra.

Kookaburras are way bigger and more hilarious than I imagined – they look like the old guy from Up.

This picture of Hilary and an Australian Pelican below was taken right after a minor confrontation, which the Pelican got the best of.

Obviously after IT CONFRONTED MY WOMAN I punched it in its stupid face.

Just kidding. I did give some serious consideration to whether I would be able to kill it with my bare hands, and let’s just say I’m glad the situation didn’t escalate. Those 3 feet of dark meat give off a ruthless, dinosaury vibe.

Port Douglas: Nankeen Night Heron, White-breasted Sea Eagle, Dusky Moorhen, spotted dove, orange-footed scrubfowl, pied imperial pigeon

Mammals: Flying foxes, wallabies
